Shaping the Future of Quantum Information Research in Korea

QCenter was established as part of the Ministry of Science and ICT’s “Quantum Information Science R&D Ecosystem Creation Project” to support research activities in the field of quantum information science in Korea.
The Center aims to systematically build a national research ecosystem and lay the foundation for sustainable growth in quantum information science.
QCenter strengthens the nation’s quantum research capabilities through three core pillars: training new research manpower, constructing a quantum fab (foundry), and expanding quantum cloud services and the research base.

Train New Research Manpower

Next-Generation Researchers

Train New Research Manpower

Establish a domestic ecosystem for training young researchers
and expand the research base in quantum information science.

Construct Quantum Fab

Quantum Foundry

Construct Quantum Fab

Provide quantum device process infrastructure
and process services through the quantum fab.

Expand Quantum Cloud and Research Base

Quantum Cloud & Research Ecosystem

Expand Quantum Cloud and Research Base

Utilize quantum computer cloud services
and support networking among domestic researchers.

Education

  • Foster new researchers in quantum information science
  • Expand the research base in quantum information science
  • Establish an education system for quantum information science

Infrastructure

  • Increase researchers’ research capabilities
  • Support the rapid settlement of young researchers
  • Lower barriers to entry for new researchers
  • Accelerate the pace of research

Network

  • Secure diverse quantum computer cloud services
  • Support networking among domestic researchers in quantum information science
