Korea Quantum Partnership Manager - KR | IBM

Role and Responsibilities

At IBM Quantum you will be part of the Partner Ecosystem team, responsible for growing, running, and ensuring the success of IBM Quantum partners. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging IBM Quantum partners, their members and users, to educate and build quantum skills, enable research and development on IBM Quantum systems, drive adoption and grow the quantum ecosystem in Korea. As part of this role, you will grow the capabilities of our partners and their members and enable them to advance their goals.

As the Korea Quantum Partnership Manager, you will interface across many individuals and parties at partner institutions and within IBM, including technical teams within IBM Quantum, as well as product, marketing, and business development teams. You will work with people across the board to align plans on all dimensions of the partnership. You will be responsible of executing and ensuring delivery of successful outcomes. Specific responsibilities include training individuals and groups on quantum computing and IBM Quantum’s offerings; understanding the needs of business and technical leaders at IBM Quantum partners; driving adoption and usage of IBM Quantum offerings; and driving new opportunities within these strategic partners.

The preferred work location for this role is Seoul.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• MSc in quantum information, physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in business or technology strategy consulting, with demonstrable experience with clients.
• Experience managing research projects and programs.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in both English and Korean is required for this role.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• PhD in quantum information, physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in business or technology strategy consulting, with demonstrable experience with clients relationship management.
• Deep expertise in multiple industries or deep domain expertise
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing large partnerships,
• Demonstrated ability to execute multiple, complex demand plans with partners
